Description

One of the three Polish central state archives, located in Warsaw, was created in 1919 as the Military Archives by the head of state Józef Piłsudski.

Basic information about owned collections

Selected collections include, inter alia, units from the Polish Western Union (accessions), the Western Borderlands Defense Union (accessions), the Ministry of the Interior, the World Union of Poles Abroad, the Society of the Borderland Guard)

Opening hours

Archives of New Records accept visitors on business days from 8:15 to 16:15.
The ANR Research Room is open during the following hours: Monday – Thursday: 9:00 – 18:30, Friday: 9:00 – 15:30
